Eryn Freeman
Certified Athletic Therapist and Exercise Physiologist.
Eryn specializes in treating and rehabilitating acute and chronic injuries to muscles, bones and joints. She started her business in 2017 in Comox and it has developed into “The Movement Space” working with and within Origin Integrated Health. Eryn also has expanded her team to include Kinesiologists; Kim Jaccard and Stephanie Devonshire and also offers many different movement/rehab classes and workshops in the space.
As an Athletic Therapist, Eryn is trained in hands-on soft tissue treatment, joint mobilization and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and often combines these tools with exercise therapy in her sessions to get you back to work, sport or play as soon as possible.
When you come to see Eryn, expect to get a thorough assessment done of your injury or area of concern. You will also learn where your body may have muscular imbalances and how you can become an active participant in your own recovery. Expect to go away with an action plan, which will likely include rehabilitation exercises. Eryn loves to collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the Comox Valley and at Origin. Teamwork really does get people better.
When not at the clinic, Eryn can be found riding her mountain or cross bike, hiking, snowboarding, surfing, kayaking, doing watercolours and enjoying good food and time with her partner and dog.
